Narrow-web longwall shearer "KUZBASS 500 YU"
This narrow - web longwall shearer 'KUZBASS 500 YU' is designed for fully mechanized cutting of coal in working faces of fat and fat-slanted beds with thickness from 1.6 to 4.8 m, coal resistance to cutting being equal to up to 360 kN/m, that have natural interlayers with the strength under Protodiyakonov scale of up to 4, aggregate capacity of up to 12% of the seam thickness in the mines hazardous for gas and dust.
The shearer has double ended ranging drums with cowls driven by hydraulic motors, feed drive systems with overload release clutches, and control system ensuring constant speed performance and automatic speed reduction or stoppage of the shearer in case of overload. The control system enables function diagnostics and is available in on-site and remote control versions.
