The foundry of Yurginsky machine engineering plant represents an industrial complex of the full production cycle outfitted with modern production facilities. Steel products are mainly open-hearth steels and electric furnace steels with specified chemical compositions.
The electric furnace workshop carries out steel melting practice followed by ladle treatment and weighing ingots of from 3 to 15 t which further forge processed.
The press workshop is the biggest one in Siberia and the Far East producing press forgings up to 10 t in various forms and shapes with a length of up to 10 metres. This workshop has the only behind Ural Bagner ring-rolling mill which is capable to produce rolling rings up to 2,5 meters in diameter.
The foundry produces steel, iron and non-ferrous castings by both sand casting and investment casting processes ranging in sizes and weights of 50 grams to 3,5 t.
The die forging workshop offers to customers profiled stampings of a range of standard sizes in various steel grades.
The metallurgical production facility includes a thermomechanical workshop providing a complete cycle of heat treatments: surface impregnation, including nitriding, carburizing, thermal treatment and processing of big sized forgings and tubes up to 12 m length.
With updated devices and special equipment the in-house main laboratory carries out testing and controls parameters and heat treatment processes to prove the quality of metallurgical products..
