This mower is a rear-mounted implement attached to a tractor of a 0,9 to 1,4 drawbar category. This mower is designed to cut thick grass and laid hay crops at higher ground speeds and place or form a windrow from the mown material. The mower is a tractor PTO-driven machine. A rotational movement is transmitted via the cardan shaft.
Cutting of stalk-like material is achieved by segmented blades attached to rotating disks on the cutter bar. Adjacent disks perform reciprocating motions so as to mutually overlap their circumferences of blades providing good swath cutting. Blades cut the grass on the unsupported cutting principal, picking up and removing the cut grass from the cutting zone by transporting it under the base of the cutting component.
